This video was taken by the dashboard camera of the Alaska police cruiser who saw ‘Buddy’, a German Shepherd running down the road. Sensing an urgency in the dog’s demeanor, the police decided to follow him from the main road to wherever the dog was leading them. And boy were they absolutely right! He took him to a burning house which turns out was its owner’s place. Needless to say, a determined Buddy saved a man’s life.

This brave act didn’t go unnoticed by the Alaska state troopers who actually honoured Buddy! Dog’s truly a man’s best friend.
